The Man, the guide, the legend. Maelan brings a lifetime of outdoor leadership, intellect and charm to work everyday at MRG. A graduate of Loyola Sacred Heart and the University of Missoula, Maelan studied outdoor Recreation. He combines detailed local knowledge, with pleasant intellectual charm and  savvy river skills to guide some of the best trips  we’ve ever seen at MRG.  He duckied and swam the gorge at 26,000 cfs. He represented MRG as a member of our Mineral County Rodeo team.  And he can stay awake for whatever amount of time it takes to drive straight through from Missoula Montana to Doon, Iowa on an Oil Spill Response.
