Full-day Scenic Trip
Half-Day Scenic Trip
Clark Fork River Rafting is a perfect choice for relaxing, birdwatching, enjoying the mountain scenery, and family float trips. Brimming with wildlife and steeped in history, the serpentine Clark Fork River winds its way west from the Anaconda Pintler Mountain Range through western Montana toward Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho. Bald eagles, hawks, mergansers, white tail deer and even moose can be seen along the Clark Fork, which is as thick with history as it is with wildlife.
Ancestral home to the Salish Indians, the Clark Fork receives the Bitterroot and Blackfoot Rivers in Missoula before flowing west towards the mighty Alberton Gorge. These rivers carve a path followed by Lewis and Clark as well as the Nez Perce’ Indians in their tragic 1877 journey. We’ll customize the trip for your schedule and group. There are a variety of sections perfect for Clark Fork River Rafting near Missoula. We often float the Tarkio Canyon near Alberton for its pristine canyon scenery. We also float sections right in Missoula and near St Regis, Montana.
