Nestled along the Clark Fork River between Missoula and Coeur d’Alene, our 40 acre Alberton Gorge Ranch whitewater headquarters is located at the starting point for all Alberton Gorge Raft Trips. Whether it’s a family reunion raft, wedding party or company outing, Montana River Guides is uniquely situated to customize your river adventure. For the party who wants the ultimate whitewater thrill as a part of their Montana wedding or company picnic, riverboarding the Alberton Gorge on a guided trip is the way to go. We provide everything you need for this trip, guides, instruction and gear. You'll just need to be an enthusiastic swimmer. You’ll wear a wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet, & fins and run the rapids on a specially designed bodyboard with handles. Learn to surf if you’re gung ho! This adventure has been covered in publications ranging from Men’s Health Magazine to the New York Times. We were one of the original riverboard outfitters in the United States and have been guiding trips for over a decade on the gorge. Still Montana's only Riverboard outfitter, we are lucky to have some of the best surfable waves in the world right here in the Alberton Gorge.
