Women’s Whitewater Rafting Workshop: Let’s go ladies! Join MRG Lead Guides & Instructors Amy Braig & Jane Webber for a full weekend of whitewater fun and river skills. . One evening of lecture and discussion followed by two full days on the Blackfoot River and Alberton Gorge. We’ll focus on reading water, rowing technique and guiding paddle crews through Class II and III whitewater. Topics include trip preparation, safety talks, rigging boats, communications, paddle commands, boat handling, and even a few fun rescue scenarios. We will emphasize rowing or paddle guiding, depending on your preference. No experience necessary. All equipment provided. Sponsored by Montana River Guides & the Whitewater Rescue Institute!

Equipment

We’ll provide all of your river equipment including a life jacket, helmet, and even a wetsuit if needed.  Bring a lunch, water and extra dry, warm top & bottom layers such as fleece and polypropylene. We provide all rafts and rafting equipment.
