With a recent bout of hot weather and rain, western Montana’s rivers we’re flowing higher this April than they have since the 1930’s…..YAHOOO! We took advantage of the flows by riverboarding the Stillwater River with Evergreen Firefighters, by floating the little know whitewater section of the Clearwater, and by surfing at every spare moment on our local big glassy beautiful wave. If Big Papa can do it–anyone can do it. Get out there and surf Montana people. The water is fresh and the the river wave provides an endless surf,…until you get spooked by an oncoming log and face plant.
